The balloon DOESN'T have steering wheel and engine. It is the ONLY aviation vehicle that fly's with help of wind. Height is controlled by hot air. When organizing or planning an event, the above must be taken into account. Therefore, if there is any object you want to see from the sky, the flight have to planned carefully in advance so we can expect the right wind and come to the desired place or start from that place.

In Latvia we CAN fly with hot air balloon all year around. Spring, summer, early autumn earth heats up and cools down, it determines the hours when flight is possible. We can fly 1-3h after the sun has raised or 1-2h before sunset. If the earth has already warmed up or has not yet cooled enough, it forms the mass of hot or cold air bubbles or thermals that are not friends with hot air balloon. In winter or late autumn, when the earth temperature is constant or not significant temperature changes during the day, then we can fly all day.

Any meadow or small, clean plot of 50x50m is suitable for balloon take-off as well as any other place which isn't controllable airspace with special coordination. If your chosen location is indicated on the aeronautical map as a restricted flight area, for example, NATO airfield or Adazi landfill or a gas storage etc., we will have to plan a flight elsewhere. There could be situations of military or aviation training when airspace is restricted or closed. It means that flight should also be planned at the time and place where it's possible to do.

Hot air balloon preparation time for flight takes 20-30 minutes. The flight itself takes about 1hour. The total time from our meeting up to goodbye time will take around 2,5-3 hours.

Flight with balloon is possible if there is no rainfall, fog and wind speed is no more than 5 m / sec.

There is no age limit, however there must be a healthy and adequate perception of your body's abilities and health status. Pregnant women do not fly. Children up to 4, preferably up to 7 do not fly as they get tired quickly, however parents are aware of their child's ability to keep attention, interest in nature and peaceful entertainment. People who have had leg injuries, fractures, sprains do not fly.

Passengers are picked up in a balloons car before the start and after the flight with the same car are taken back to the place where their car was left. If you don't have your own car then we can agree on a meeting place where the passenger is picked up and recalled.
