Pilot

“I will give you a bundle full of magic pixie dust. He who receives at least a pinch of this magic will see the world in the same colors as you, and with each passing moment the border with the land of the Blessed will become closer and wider..."

Inga Van Haver, that's me.
A mother of three sons, a storyteller and writer, a dreamer at heart, and a balloon pilot for 15 years. Since 2019, I am also an instructor for future pilots. Currently, six new pilots have successfully graduated from the EU Academy of Ballooning at Sky Amazons.
I believe in fairy tales, because my pilot's journey started at a time when I had never even seen a balloon in person. It all started in 2005 when I wrote a fairy tale about a butterfly with a magic wand...
I have spent more than 1,100 hours in the air, with thousands of people together with me in the basket. Like the protagonist in my fairy tale, I sprinkle magic pixie dust all the time, without people realizing it.

Since 2007 while going around world with the balloons and watching the good examples of different nations, there came an idea which one I wanted to realize here with my friends, companions. First of all, our identity, our recognition mark... While traveling in a girls' company, we were almost always called the Amazons - 'amazonki' in Russian, 'amazon' in English. That's how the idea of our travelers' club called "Amazons" came about. Sky was added as the whole unifying element is air. On March 5, 2014, Sky Amazons was founded, which is also our traveler club. We are girls, all the ordinary girls who want to be the most beloved women for their men, also wives, moms and family girls who just love balloons, so they "pulled in" their men as well. Who would be a women without our men, without the status of" Mommy ", who we are without the love? ... Because main is love!
Team
The crew of a balloon or a team is made up of several people just like any other air transport vehicle. Finding it in a bag until it is stacked upright requires a number of hard-working and strong hands. The smallest crew is a pilot +3 people. After the air balloon with pilot and passengers have flown away, on the land it's followed by a balloon bus with a trailer and a crew. So, there is a driver who can smoothly and filigree drive the bus with trailer. Another teammate who is good at reading navigation or paper map (as it was many years ago), or online programs for tracking aircraft (such as Glympse etc.) from the ground. Another teammate who likes the photo is also a must. Because ballooning is about nature and happy people's emotions. A photographer can be any good person who sees the beautiful all around and instantly. Over the years, team rotation has been in dozens of times. Children are born, new acquaintances, marriages, change of place of residence, change of personal events and many other factors affect the fact that the team as a living organism grows, develops, changes and is always open to young people, new conversations and being together.
